Workshop Highlights:

My in-person watercolour workshops at Burton Green Village Hall offer a relaxed and supportive space to learn, create and enjoy painting alongside others.

Each session includes a live, step-by-step demonstration, guiding you through the process from start to finish, followed by time to paint with plenty of individual help and encouragement. I break everything down into simple, manageable stages, so you can build confidence and develop your skills at your own pace.

With over 25 years of teaching experience and a background in botanical art, I combine strong technical guidance with a warm, friendly approach. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve, you’ll leave with new skills, greater confidence and a painting to be proud of.

Comprehensive Techniques: Dive into various watercolour techniques including wet-on-wet, dry brushing, colour mixing, and layering to create depth and atmosphere in your paintings.

Personalised Feedback: Receive individualised feedback on your work, helping you to improve your technique and develop your unique artistic style.

Suitable for beginners and improvers.

You will need to bring following Materials:

Watercolour paper 300gsm (Saunders 100%Cotton Recommended)

Watercolour brushes

Watercolour paints – Pans or Tubes

Palette for mixing

Hb pencil and rubber 

2 x jars for water and Kitchen paper

* You will be taught by your tutor at the venue with step- by -step demonstrations and clear explanations of the techniques.
