I’m Purnima, a professional artist and teacher with over 25 years of experience in watercolour and drawing.

I’ve taught thousands of students—from complete beginners to experienced artists—and regularly teach internationally, including on Cunard cruise ships.

Just finished my second workshop at Burton Green with Purnima. The three hour session just fly’s by in a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Purnima is very attentive to all, her demonstrations are clear and easy to follow and Purnima is happy to repeat to ensure you under stand. Attended the three hour Watercolour Workshop at Burton Green Village all and left mightily impressed by what I produced for a first attempt (Warwick Castle). The teaching was step by step, everyone made to feel very welcome regardless of ability. Lovely group and step by step tutorial and positive feedback as you go. Highly recommended. 🙂

I very much enjoyed the session although I did struggle to keep up. I’m a slow painter! The 2 hours went very quickly. Purnima’s tuition is extremely helpful and I would recommend anyone who is thinking of taking up water colour to give her a try.
