Teaching Art Onboard Cunard Cruise Ships and Beyond

For years, I have combined two of my greatest passions—travel and art—by sharing the joy of watercolour painting with guests onboard Cunard Cruise Ships. Teaching over 1,000 enthusiastic participants during my artistic journey has been both humbling and exhilarating, as I’ve guided individuals of all skill levels to discover their inner artist while surrounded by the beauty of the open sea.

Recently, I had the privilege of embarking on a world cruise aboard Cunard’s Queen Victoria, an unforgettable voyage that offered experiences beyond imagination. One of the most breathtaking moments was the iconic Panama Canal crossing, where engineering marvels met serene landscapes—an artist’s paradise.

This extraordinary adventure took me across the globe, visiting awe-inspiring destinations that have left me with a lifetime of memories and endless inspiration for my art. I’ve explored the tropical shores of Honolulu and the serene charm of Apia, Samoa. The rolling green landscapes of New Zealand and the vibrant cities of Australia left me in awe, while the rich culture of the Philippines, the energy of Hong Kong, and the diverse beauty of Singapore enriched my travels further.

My journeys have also included the striking coastlines of South Africa, the historic cities of Spain, and the majestic fjords of Norway. Each stop in the Caribbean islands and America added more layers to my artistic vision, as the colours, landscapes, and cultures of these destinations fuel my creative spirit.

Through my watercolours, I aim to capture not only the stunning sights I have witnessed but also the emotions and stories that come alive when traveling. Teaching others to express themselves through art—particularly on such remarkable voyages—has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Watching guests find joy, relaxation, and confidence in their painting is a constant reminder of art’s universal language, connecting us all across oceans and continents.
