About Purnima

I’m Purnima, a professional artist and experienced art teacher with over 25 years of teaching watercolour and drawing.

Art has been at the centre of my life for decades, and my passion is helping people of all ages discover the joy of painting in a calm, supportive and enjoyable way.

My Teaching Journey

Over the years, I have taught thousands of students—from complete beginners picking up a brush for the first time to more experienced artists looking to develop their skills.

I also teach internationally, including workshops on Cunard cruise ships, where I work with people from all over the world who want to relax and explore their creativity.

My Teaching style

My classes are designed to be relaxed, friendly and easy to follow.

I believe anyone can paint with the right guidance. You don’t need natural talent—just a willingness to try.

I break everything down step by step so you can build confidence, enjoy the process, and leave each session feeling proud of what you’ve created.

My classes are designed to be relaxed, friendly and easy to follow.
